This question is about the provisions in the US law to avoid the frivolous litigation as it wastes valuable time and resources of the court. Director of the civil litigation clinic at the GW law school, Professor Joan H Strand, in answer to the above question elaborates on few of the most effective ways in the law to block the way of such litigation. One such way is the court rule through which the prosecuting party filing the frivolous suit can be made to pay the attorney’s fee of the defending party.
